Christmas Tree Lots in Silver Spring – Buy Local and Support Good Causes

There is nothing like picking out a “fresh cut” tree for your house at a tree lot.
There is also nothing as wonderful as the smell, when you get it inside your house for 
the Holiday season.
Silver Spring Boy Scout Troop 466
Continuing a 40 plus year tradition, Boy Scout Troop 466 will be selling Christmas trees, wreaths and rope (garland).
The Troop’s Christmas Tree Lot is located at St. John the Evangelist Church (parking lot) on Georgia Ave. and are open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 9pm.
During the week, the lot is open from 5pm to 9pm.
The bulk of these funds goes to support the troop’s Big Trip Out West every
three years. In 2011, the troop spent two weeks at Grand Teton and Yellowstone
National Park.

.St Bernadette Catholic Church
Christmas Trees, wreaths, and greenery for sale at St.Bernadette Catholic Church. Trees range from 5 – 9 feet in height and prices range from $30 – $65. Balsam firs and Fraser firs are available, as well as small and large wreaths and greenery.
Proceeds from these sales benefit the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) sports program at the parish, which sponsors soccer, cross country, basketball, baseball, and softball for St. Bernadette students and parishioners.
Sales run on weekdays from 3:30 – 9pm and weekends from 9am – 9pm. Cash, check and credit (MC & VISA) will be accepted.
